Cork Cycling Arts Festival is a celebration of the bicycle culture in Cork.
Cycling is fast, trendy, planet-friendly, and healthy - a means of transport as well as a hobby. Cycling is also an art de vivre built on cultural symbols and social relationships that resonate with attitudes and values of environment protection, critique of consumerism, healthy lifestyles and more liveable cities.
Cork Cycling Arts Festival puts arts and entertainment at the heart of the event, which is to be entirely free to the public throughout, welcoming all ages and walks of life with a special focus on family-friendly events.
This first edition promises to offer a feast of arts and culture with a kaleidoscopic programme of movie nights, street events, workshops and so much more to offer another vision of the “cycling experience in the city”.
